The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI's overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.

This role will follow the Operations Management Development program to gain an overall understanding of the industry, our business, and the Operations function. The main purpose of the development program is to prepare the Trainee for a leadership role in corporate or plant operations. The program is approximately 18-36 months. It is a learn-by-doing program, in which the Trainee encounters a series of critical on-the-job learning experiences in Operations and cross-functional departments.

Job Responsibilities

• Follows the Operations Management Development program Example:

• Rotation 1 - Quality Department Experience: The Trainee works in a project-based role within the quality team.

• Rotation 2 - Operations Department Experience: The Trainee works in a project-based role within the Operations team at a plant level to gain a better understanding of the function in an operational setting.

• Rotation 3 - Cross-Functional Experience & Operations Project(s): The Trainee shadows in multiple departments to gain a well-rounded view of the business and acts as a member/leader of a key Operations project(s). These job shadows would include Corporate Roles as well as Plan Based roles.

• Rotation 4 - Supply Chain Assignment: The Trainee works in an Operations leadership role and completes a supply chain assignment.

• Remains abreast of Rotation Program requirements.

• Remains engaged in training plans and project assignments to gain the experience intended by the program.

• Reflects on and retains learning experiences.

• Presents learning experiences to management at the end of each rotation.

• Participates regularly in staff and other group meetings.

• This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills

• 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred.

• Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.

• Relevant Internship experience.

• Ability to present to senior leadership.

Education

• BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.

Work Environment

• Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.

• Work conditions are typical of an office & plant environment.

• This role does not require any domestic travel

• Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds

• Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.

• Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
