Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8: 00 AM - 4: 30 PM
Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour, DOE

About the Role

Ridgeway Post Acute is seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Activities Director to lead our life enrichment programs. This role is key to providing engaging, resident-centered activities that promote dignity, independence, and a sense of community.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement meaningful activity programs
• Coordinate outings, group activities, and one-on-one engagement
• Participate in care planning, assessments, and discharge planning
• Communicate with residents, families, staff, and outside agencies
• Oversee and mentor activity staff to ensure quality programming
• Ensure compliance with state and federal activity regulations
• Participate in facility committees such as Quality Assurance and Safety
• Maintain accurate documentation of activity services and resident progress

Qualifications

• Activity Director Certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in long-term care activities preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Compassionate and resident-focused
