Pine Creek Care Center is looking for a dedicated and compassionate
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team! This is a great opportunity to make a difference in resident care while working alongside a supportive, collaborative team that values your expertise and passion for excellence.
What You'll Do: - Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure top-quality care for our residents.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring nursing staff to build a cohesive and motivated team.
- Help develop and implement nursing policies, systems, and procedures to maintain compliance and promote high standards of care.
- Conduct rounds, monitor resident conditions, and ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect.
- Act as a liaison between residents, families, and physicians to maintain open communication and trust.
- Support staff performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and professional development.
- Participate in meetings, in-service training, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Step in for the DON or charge nurses when needed to provide leadership and clinical support.
- Stay current on regulatory updates and ensure compliance with state and federal standards.
Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Current CA RN license in good standing.
- 3-5 years of nurse management experience, preferably in long-term care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; PCC experience a plus.
