Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house therapy program. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a collaborative, patient-centered team that values clinical excellence and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist (PT)
- Accurately document daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in accordance with PT Board standards
- Support departmental operations and ensure therapy areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Collaborate with nursing staff and assist in training Restorative Aides
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and healthcare team members regarding patient progress, concerns, and care plans
- Participate in patient care and rehabilitation conferences as needed
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on maintenance programs and home exercise routines to support discharge planning
- Follow facility policies and maintain compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements
- Report any equipment issues to ensure a safe and efficient therapy environment
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Qualifications- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License (State of California)
