• Saturday - Wednesday
• Saturday, Sunday & Monday: PM Shift
• Tuesday & Wednesday: AM Shift (6: 00 AM - 2: 00 PM)
  Compensation: $23 per hour

Overview:

Peninsula Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors, with a focus on laundry operations and general housekeeping duties within our post-acute care facility. This role is essential in ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for our residents while upholding infection control standards.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure a consistent supply of clean linen for the proper care and comfort of all residents.
• Maintain all linens in good repair by promptly removing any items with holes and/or stains from service.
• Perform day-to-day janitorial functions, which may include:
  
  • Cleaning resident rooms and recreational areas.
  • Sanitizing and polishing bathrooms.
  • Cleaning windows and mirrors.
  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, buffing, and disinfecting floors.
  • Removing trash and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Deodorize and disinfect according to established policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to seek assistance when needed.
• No specific certifications required.
