Your Role

Resident Care & Support
  • Provide compassionate, respectful care while assisting residents with activities of daily living.
  • Promote resident comfort, dignity, safety, and independence .
  • Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, meals, repositioning, and restorative care programs.
  • Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team.
  • Follow individualized care plans and support each resident's unique needs.

Communication & Teamwork
  • Build positive, professional relationships with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other staff to support quality resident outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and resident-centered team environment.

Professional Standards
  • Follow facility policies, infection prevention protocols, and safety procedures.
  • Protect resident privacy and maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements.
  • Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Support Peninsula Post-Acute's commitment to providing exceptional skilled nursing and rehabilitative care.


Qualifications
  • Active California CNA Certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of CNA experience preferred
  • Skilled nursing, post-acute, or long-term care experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
