Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy Specialist
Rate Range: $58-$64
Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

We are currently seeking a skilled
Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on optimizing function and improving the quality of life for patients with hand and upper extremity conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for patients with hand and upper extremity injuries or conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare team members.
- Utilizes evidence-based practices to guide treatment decisions and enhance recovery outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on injury management and rehabilitation strategies.
- Perform splinting and fabrication of orthotic devices as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other rehabilitation staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Specialty certification in hand therapy (CHT) preferred or willingness to pursue certification.
- Previous experience in hand therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, or similar setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
