Compensation
Rate: $48-$55 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Job summary:
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to residents. The COTA assists in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and helping residents improve their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Implement and execute individualized treatment plans for residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions, including training in activities of daily living (ADLs), functional skills, and the use of adaptive equipment.
- Help residents reach their maximum performance level and function within their capabilities.
- Monitor and accurately document residents' progress and report any changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Instruct residents, their families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs for discharge.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment, including the large, on-site gym.
- Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license or certification.
