Orchard Post Acute is seeking a dependable and caring Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our team! In this role, you will help prepare and serve meals while creating a welcoming dining experience for our residents. Your attention to detail and friendly service will support their nutrition, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and service according to approved menus and resident dietary needs.
- Assemble meal trays with the correct foods, portions, beverages, and utensils.
- Follow instructions for special diets, food textures, and resident preferences.
- Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, and food storage areas.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist with receiving, labeling, and storing food and supplies.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
- Communicate resident meal concerns to the Dietary Supervisor.
- Work cooperatively with dietary and nursing staff to provide timely, courteous service.
- Previous food service or healthcare dietary experience preferred.
- Willingness to learn and follow meal preparation and sanitation procedures.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
- Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to perform essential job duties, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
