4: 30am - 1pm

10: 30am - 7pm

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated cook to join our team. As a cook for a skilled nursing facility, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food service for the patients of the building, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality meals in a safe and efficient manner. If you have experience in the kitchen, possess strong attention to detail, and are passionate about food safety, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in compliance with food safety guidelines
- Assist with meal planning and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Follow proper knife handling techniques and safety protocols

Experience:
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal planning
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
