What You'll Do

As a Dietary Aide, you will:

• Prepare, assemble, and deliver meals according to dietitian-approved plans and resident-specific needs (e.g., diabetic, low‑sodium, texture-modified diets)
• Assist with meal service setup and cleanup in dining areas or resident rooms
• Maintain kitchen safety and sanitation—clean surfaces, dishes, trays, and equipment per health code standards
• Support inventory tracking and stock rotation in collaboration with dietary staff
• Report meal-related concerns (e.g., refusals, temperature inconsistencies) to supervisors or nursing staff promptly

Who We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Food Handler's Permit (mandatory), ServSafe Certification (preferred)
• Dependable team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow dietary instructions accurately
• Friendly and compassionate demeanor, especially when assisting elderly residents
• Ability to handle physical tasks—lifting, bending, tray delivery—in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous food-service experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital settings
