Position Summary:

Oak River Rehab is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Cook to assist in preparing meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, a strong work ethic, and a heart for serving others in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
• Assist in cleaning and organizing kitchen and food storage areas
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff and follow direction from the Dietary Manager
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience preferred, especially in healthcare or institutional settings

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must be dependable and a team player
• ServSafe certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
