What You'll Do

As an Activities Assistant, you'll help organize and lead engaging programs that promote socialization, wellness, and quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with daily activity programs, events, and outings
• Encouraging resident participation and engagement
• Building positive relationships with residents and families
• Setting up and cleaning activity areas
• Supporting holiday celebrations, games, crafts, exercise programs, and special events
• Transporting residents to and from activities as needed
• Helping create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Compassion for seniors and a desire to improve their quality of life
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead group activities
• Previous experience in activities, recreation, customer service, caregiving, or healthcare preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
