Now Hiring: Occupational Therapist (OTR) - PRN
Moraga Post Acute Starting Rate: $58-$63+/hour Moraga Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping residents regain independence, improve daily function, and enhance their quality of life.
What You'll Do
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on their functional needs and rehabilitation goals.
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services to improve independence with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Supervise and collaborate with Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and discharge planning.
- Educate residents and caregivers on treatment goals, home programs, safety techniques, and fall prevention.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment (DME) to support resident independence.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and staff education programs.
Qualifications
- Current California Occupational Therapist (OTR) License required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.
