Cultivation Supervisor Lake Elsinore, CA | Phat Panda Location: Lake Elsinore, CA Pay: $22$24/hour, DOE Department: Cultivation / Agriculture Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Varies; includes opening/closing shift coverage Reports To: Grow Manager / Director of Propagation ABOUT THE ROLE Phat Panda is looking for a hands-on Cultivation Supervisor to lead crew members across our Agriculture Department in Lake Elsinore. You'll oversee day-to-day plant care operations, keep production on track, and help develop the team working in our cultivation rooms, genetics R& D, and tissue culture areas. This is a great fit for someone who already has a season or two of production-floor leadership under their belt and wants to keep building a career in licensed cannabis cultivation. WHAT YOU'LL DO Open and secure the cultivation facility at the start and end of each shift Assign daily and weekly tasks to crew members and track attendance, breaks, and production rates Coach and train crew members and hold Leads accountable for delegating tasks and maintaining standards Build and maintain production tracking sheets and submit end-of-shift reports Monitor inventory levels and request supply replenishment as needed Review production data to spot trends, then partner with department Leads to coach performance gaps Confirm equipment is used correctly, kept clean, and properly maintained Communicate handoff notes clearly to the next shift's leadership Partner with management on performance conversations, disciplinary actions, and scheduling or staffing changes Conduct performance reviews for Leads and crew members Flag staffing needs to management and help coordinate backup coverage Support Research & Development projects as assigned Keep the workspace clean and organized and hold the team to the same standard Stay current on company communications via email, Basecamp, and Telegram Take on additional duties as needed WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Age: Must be 21 or older Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience: At least 1 year in a production or processing facility, ideally in a supervisory or lead capacity Software: Comfortable working in Microsoft Word and Excel Leadership: Track record of delegating work, coaching a team, and holding people accountable to standards Communication: Able to read and follow written procedures and clearly communicate updates across shifts Judgment: Sound decision-making under time pressure and the ability to explain your reasoning PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Regularly stand or sit for extended periods performing repetitive tasks; lift/carry up to 10 lbs Frequently walk, reach, talk, and hear throughout a shift Occasionally climb, stoop, crouch, crawl, or carry up to 25 lbs Clear vision at 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses, and the ability to distinguish colors WORK ENVIRONMENT Exposure to humid conditions, bright lighting, and periods of heat Regular exposure to moderate-to-loud noise levels Occasional exposure to general workplace hazards Exposure to dust, fumes, or vapors typical of a cultivation environment WHY JOIN PHAT PANDA Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off Monthly employee product samples Room to grow with a fast-expanding, multi-state cannabis company Apply today Phat Panda is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
