Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patients' abilities to perform daily living activities.
  • Conduct therapeutic treatments as directed, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulations.
  • Monitor patient progress, document changes in their condition, and communicate with supervising therapists regarding treatment outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about occupational therapy techniques and exercises to support recovery.
  • Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.


Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Must be a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant with a valid license to practice in California.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
