Your Role & Responsibilities

As a CNA, you are the heart of our resident care, providing essential daily nursing services:

• Personalized Care: Provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with each resident's individual assessment and care plan.
• Safety & Identification: Use authorized identification (wristbands/photo files) before treatments or meal services to ensure resident safety.
• Clinical Observation: Monitor residents closely and report any changes in condition to the Nurse Supervisor or Charge Nurse immediately.
• Accurate Documentation: Record entries on flow sheets and charts in a descriptive, informative manner using only facility-authorized abbreviations.
• Incident Reporting: Promptly report all accidents or incidents observed during your shift.
• Resident Advocacy: Ensure rooms are welcoming and fully prepared for new admissions (beds made, name tags up, admission kits ready).
• Privacy & Professionalism: Maintain strict confidentiality of all protected health information (HIPAA) and uphold the highest ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Must hold a current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License.
• Integrity: A commitment to performing only those procedures for which you have been specifically trained.
