A Registered Dietitian (RDN) is a trained professional in the field of nutrition and dietetics. Their main duties include:

  • Creating nutrition plans to improve the health and physical conditions of patients.
  • Analyzing patients' health status, goals, and dietary restrictions.
  • Tracking clients' dietary intake and progress.
  • Educating patients on how to maintain a balanced diet.
  • Advising others on their eating habits.
  • Designing meal plans for clients based on their unique health and dietary needs.
  • Providing nutrition consultation and education for patients and their families.
  • Being an integral part of the multidisciplinary team who serves as the patient's nutrition advocate.
