We're looking for a detail-oriented, approachable HR Specialist to support the day-to-day needs of our growing mental health organization. You'll work closely with the HR team to keep employee records accurate, coordinate important processes, and help employees get clear, timely answers to their questions. This part-time role is a good fit for someone who enjoys both the people and administrative sides of HR, follows through on details, and knows when to ask questions or bring an issue to the team. What You'll Do Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including paperwork, system updates, and employee communications. Maintain accurate, confidential employee records in our HR information system. Process changes to employee information, job status, and other personnel records. Respond to routine employee questions about policies, procedures, and HR systems. Assist with timekeeping and payroll preparation by reviewing records and following up on missing or inconsistent information. Track required credentials, certifications, training, and upcoming deadlines. Support benefits and leave administration, including document tracking and follow-up under HR leadership's guidance. Assist with HR reports, audits, process improvements, and other projects. Recognize sensitive or complex issues and refer them to HR leadership appropriately. What You Bring 3-5 years of experience in HR administration or a related role. Familiarity with California employment practices and basic HR processes. Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through. Clear, professional communication and a helpful, respectful approach to employee questions. Sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information. Comfort working with HR systems, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently within established procedures. Calm demeanor when navigating sensitive situations. Experience with OneHCM, healthcare or behavioral health organizations, or a multi-location workforce is a plus. MindDivers is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and provide reasonable accommodations during the application and interview process.
