💲 Starting at $42/hour

Midtown Oaks Post Acute is seeking a motivated and organized Director of Staff Development (DSD) to lead our education, training, and competency programs. This role is ideal for a licensed nurse who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and supporting clinical excellence in a skilled nursing environment.

What You'll Do
  • Develop, implement, and oversee staff education and training programs in compliance with CDPH and federal regulations
  • Coordinate new hire orientation, ongoing in-services, and annual competencies
  • Ensure staff licenses, certifications, and education requirements are current
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify training needs and improve clinical outcomes
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and survey preparedness
  • Promote a culture of learning, accountability, and teamwork

What We're Looking For
  • LVN or RN license in good standing (California)
  • Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care
  • Prior staff development, education, or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teaching skills
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements
  • A positive, team-oriented leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring staff
