Salary Range: $105, 000 - $115, 000 per year (plus benefits)

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance (QA) Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing quality assurance programs to enhance resident care. This role involves monitoring clinical trends, preparing reports for the QAPI Committee, and identifying educational needs to ensure the facility meets both internal benchmarks and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• QAPI Leadership: Develop and implement QA assessment programs; attend facility-specific committees; monitor clinical care systems and resident choice.
• Data & Reporting: Elicit and analyze data to compare facility performance against benchmarks; prepare detailed quality reports.
• Infection Control: Provide oversight of the facility's Infection Control program, including surveillance, reporting, and investigation of communicable diseases.
• Compliance & Safety: Participate in State and Federal survey deficiency corrections; track and investigate adverse events with actionable plans.
• Education: Work collaboratively with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to provide training based on clinical findings and trends.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current RN or LVN license required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC).
• Certifications: Specialized training in QAPI or a QAPI Certification is a plus.
