Job Summary:

Marysville Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. The LVN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, collaborating with other team members to ensure high-quality, individualized care for our residents. This role is essential to promoting resident well-being, safety, and satisfaction within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Deliver compassionate, attentive, and individualized care to residents, assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, wound care, and other nursing procedures.
  • Assessment & Monitoring: Monitor resident conditions, perform routine assessments, and promptly report any changes in condition to the RN or physician.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all nursing care provided, including treatment notes, medication records, and progress updates in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with interdisciplinary team members—including RNs, CNAs, therapists, and physicians—to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all infection control, health, and safety protocols, as well as state and federal regulations governing long-term care.
  • Resident Advocacy: Act as an advocate for residents, respecting their rights, privacy, and dignity while ensuring they receive the best possible care.
Qualifications:
  • License: Current LVN license in good standing with the California Board of Nursing.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a post-acute or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in basic nursing procedures, excellent assessment skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move patients, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements as necessary.
