About the Role

Loomis is hiring Full-Time Armed Security Guards for Cash In Transit (CIT) operations in Sacramento, CA. As a CIT Armed Driver Guard / Armored Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the secure transportation of cash, coin, and valuables for banks, ATMs, and retail customers throughout the Sacramento area.

This position is ideal for experienced cash-in-transit (CIT), armored truck, or armed security professionals who are committed to safety, reliability, and professionalism.

Pay: $25.88-$28.28 per hour plus overtime

Sign-On Bonus: $5, 000 for qualified candidates with a valid CA Guard Card, CA Exposed Firearms Permit, approved duty firearm, and willingness to complete TPS Certification.

Job Description / Responsibilities

As an Armed Driver Guard, you will work with your team to ensure the safe and secure pickup and delivery of cash, coins, and valuables. Responsibilities include:

• Drive armored trucks and C-body automatic armored vehicles on designated cash-in-transit routes
• Operate TPS (Total Protection System) armored truck routes for banks, ATMs, and retail customers
• Service ATMs, Smart Safes, and cash vaults
• Deliver customer change orders and pick up deposits
• Load/unload vehicle cargo, including bags and boxes of coins
• Count, record, and sign for cargo items
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum 3-year clean driving record
• Ability to obtain Medical Examiner's Certificate via US Department of Transportation-approved medical examiners
• Completion of TPS Certification (company-provided and mandatory)
• Compliance with all firearms requirements per California law

Working Conditions

• Full-time schedule averaging 40-50 hours/week, with a minimum of 5 days during a 6-day period
• Occasional weekend work
• Approximately 90-95% of work is performed in air-conditioned armored vehicles

Physical Requirements / Human Performance Evaluation (HPE)

This position requires the ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and climb. All candidates must successfully complete the Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) in the following areas:

• Lift: 25 lbs vertical lift from 10" to 66" (1X)
• Lift-Carry: 18 lbs vertical lift from 1" to 44" & horizontally transfer 15 ft (4X); 18 lbs lift from 10" to 36" & transfer 300 ft (1X); 50 lbs lift from 10" to 36" & transfer 2 ft (2X)
• Push-Pull: Horizontally transfer 47 lbs of force on sled non-dominant arm distance of 1 ft ( 2X)
• Repetitive Coupling: Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer up to 30 lbs (both hands, 4X)
• Climb: Ascend/Descend steps 16", 21", 24" from the floor (10X)
