Description:
Lone Tree Post Acute is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dedicated in-house therapy department. Compensation and benefits- Hourly Rate: Starting at $60/hour.
- Schedule: Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions are available.

Essential duties and responsibilitiesThe SLP will be responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a range of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Key duties include:
- Conducting comprehensive, age-appropriate evaluations for adult and geriatric patients.
- Developing and executing individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders.
- Maintaining thorough and timely documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports, to comply with state and payer regulations.
- Actively participating in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Providing in-service training to facility staff to promote best practices.
- Instructing patients, families, and nursing staff on maintenance and discharge programs.
- Supervising and mentoring clinical fellowship year (CFY) candidates or speech-language pathology students.
- Adhering to the California State Practice Act and facility policies and procedures.
- Cultivating positive and effective relationships with patients, families, and staff.
Qualifications- Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current and unrestricted license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California, or a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate seeking mentorship.
