Automotive Service Technician - Ford Truck Fleet

Join a Team That Keeps More Than 400 Vehicles Moving Elite is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician to maintain and repair a large fleet of Ford trucks and fleet vehicles that support our landscaping and maintenance operations across California. Our fleet consists primarily of Ford F-150, F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-750 trucks. We're looking for a hands-on technician who enjoys diagnostics, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and taking pride in keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and on the road. This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for a skilled technician who can work independently, accurately diagnose problems, and help minimize vehicle downtime. What You'll Do As part of our Fleet Maintenance team, you will: Diagnose and repair engine performance, drivability, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, and driveline issues. Troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, charging systems, lighting, and vehicle accessories. Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled service on fleet vehicles. Utilize diagnostic software, scan tools, and testing equipment to identify vehicle concerns. Complete repairs efficiently and accurately to minimize fleet downtime. Inspect vehicles to identify potential issues before they become costly breakdowns. Maintain service records, repair documentation, and preventative maintenance schedules. Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and keep operations running smoothly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Respond to occasional emergency repairs when operational needs require. What Success Looks Like In this role, you will: Consistently diagnose and repair vehicle issues correctly the first time. Ideal Candidate You may be a strong fit if you: Have experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership, independent repair facility, or commercial fleet environment. Enjoy diagnosing and solving mechanical and electrical problems. Have experience working on Ford trucks or similar gasoline-powered vehicles. Can effectively use diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
