Pay Range: $25 - $30/hour (DOE)

Linwood Meadows Care Center is seeking a compassionate, organized, and driven Admissions Director to join our skilled nursing facility. This is a key position responsible for guiding new residents and families through the admission process with care, clarity, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the resident admissions process from inquiry to move-in
• Communicate with hospitals, physicians, families, and insurance providers
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits
• Prepare and manage all admission documentation accurately and timely
• Ensure smooth transitions for new residents by coordinating with nursing and other departments
• Maintain accurate records and data entry related to census and admissions
• Provide tours and information to prospective residents and their families

Ideal Candidate Traits:

• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Experience with medical insurance verification and processes
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A caring and approachable personality
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous experience in admissions or a similar role in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
