Laundry Aide

Facility: Las Colinas Post Acute
Pay Range: $17.48-$18.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Varies | Healthcare Setting
Position Summary

Las Colinas Post Acute is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to support our residents and staff by ensuring clean, sanitary, and well-maintained linens and garments. This role is essential in maintaining infection control standards and overall resident comfort.
Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Monitor laundry supplies and report low inventory
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas
• Handle linens and clothing with care, respecting resident dignity and privacy
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Prior laundry experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and positive work ethic
