Lake & Grounds Ambassador The Lake & Grounds Ambassador is responsible for the upkeep and appearance of Lake San Marcos and recreational outdoor areas. They are to perform a regular vegetation and trash clean-up/removal routine as required or scheduled. They will also be responsible for the maintenance and repair of docks and dock-related issues as directed by management. They must have knowledge of powered gardening tools, hand and power tools, and boat operation. The Lake & Grounds Ambassador is a hybrid position that supports both Lake San Marcos operations and the Golf Course Grounds team. The employee's daily assignments and the amount of time dedicated to each area will be directed by management based on operational needs and priorities. The duties of the Lake & Grounds Ambassador include, but are not limited to the following: · Remove trash and debris from all Lake San Marcos areas by performing a regularly scheduled route as well as a per-request basis. · Safely operate The Lake San Marcos marine vessel; a 24ft work boat used for the cleanup and maintenance of The Lake. · Safe operation of tools such as weed eaters, handheld saws, rakes, gators, drills, impacts, basic hand tools, and more. · Inspect and clear pathways, gangways, ramps, docks, and recreational areas to ensure safe and clear conditions. · Perform basic maintenance for resort marina docks and private residences including but not limited to electrical outlets, photocell replacements, board, and facia replacements, securing support poles, and painting. · Perform dock removal and replacements at the direction of management. · Ensures maintenance equipment and tools are operating with efficiency by performing preventative maintenance and cleaning. · Work effectively as a team in loud environments. · Follow directions from management relating to the job at hand. · Performs other related duties as assigned. · Always wear company-provided PPE and clothing to protect oneself from harm. · Assures that maintenance and vegetation removal requests are completed satisfactorily, safely, and timely. Communicate any issues with management. · Launch and pull vessels from the lake with assistance from the grounds team. · Towing vessels that are nonfunctional back to the original moorage location or to launch ramp for removal. · Perform grounds landscaping tasks as needed. · Perform other duties assigned by the Management.
