Position Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in evolving FP& A from a reporting function into a forward-looking, decision-support partner to the business. This role owns core FP& A processes including reporting, forecasting, and KPI analysis, while driving improvements in accuracy, automation, and overall efficiency. The ideal candidate operates with a high degree of ownership, consistently meets deadlines, and produces work that leadership can rely on without rework. This position reports directly to the VP of FP& A and partners closely with Sales, Operations, and Executive leadership. Responsibilities: Forecasting & Planning Own and operate the companys forecasting and budgeting modelsMaintain and enhance driver-based models and scenario analysisImprove forecast accuracy and proactively identify risks and opportunitiesTranslate business inputs into clear financial implications Business Partnership Partner directly with Sales, Operations, and other functional leadersProvide proactive financial insights to support decision-makingChallenge assumptions and clearly frame trade-offs, risks, and outcomesSupport resource planning, profitability analysis, and operational improvements Process Improvement & Automation Identify and implement opportunities to reduce manual reporting and improve efficiencyPartner with data and systems teams (Snowflake / BI tools) to improve data accessibility and reliabilityHelp implement and scale FP& A systems and toolsStandardize reporting and forecasting processes KPI & Performance Management Develop and maintain key financial and operational KPIsMonitor performance trends and highlight key driversSupport leadership with clear, consistent performance visibility Financial Reporting & Analysis Own monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deliverables end-to-endEnsure all reporting is accurate, reconciled, and delivered on timeAnalyze financial results, identify trends, and clearly communicate drivers of performanceProvide variance analysis with actionable insights and recommendations Standards of Performance: High level of accuracy and attention to detail (clean tie-outs, minimal rework)Consistent on-time delivery of deadlines without escalationStrong ownership mindsettakes responsibility for outcomes, not just tasksAbility to manage multiple priorities and communicate proactivelyProduces work that is decision-ready, not just technically correct Qualifications: Bachelor's degree - Finance, Accounting, or related field5+ years of financial analysis experience (mortgage banking experience a must)Advanced Excel and financial modeling skillsExperience with data tools (Snowflake, BI tools, or similar) preferredExperience with FP& A systems or planning tools is a plus Core Competencies: Strong financial modeling and analytical skillsAbility to build and maintain complex models independentlyExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to operate independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skillsable to translate analysis into clear business implicationsProactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Additional Expectations: Comfortable working in an environment with evolving processes and systemsWilling to roll up sleeves and take ownership of both strategic and tactical workDemonstrates initiative in identifying problems and driving solutions Pay Disclosure: The starting base pay range for this position is $110k/annually. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
