Description:

KeyLogic is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support both the IT Service Management (ITSM) team and the organization’s opportunity management efforts. This position plays a key role in analyzing processes, supporting service delivery improvements, and maintaining visibility into emerging business opportunities. In addition to core business analysis tasks, this role includes light project management responsibilities such as coordinating timelines, managing documentation, and assisting with progress tracking across initiatives.

This position is on-site in Folsom, CA or Loveland, CO

Salary: 76-80K

Position Responsibilities:

· Assist in aligning ITSM practices with ITIL-based standards and organizational goals.

· Track and update the status of business opportunities across departments using CRM or pipeline tracking tools.

· Collect, organize, and validate opportunity-related data to support leadership decision-making and resource planning.

· Coordinate communications and maintain documentation related to opportunity intake, qualification, and prioritization processes.

· Support internal stakeholders by providing visibility into the opportunity pipeline and upcoming strategic efforts.

· Collaborate with ITSM stakeholders to document and improve IT service delivery processes.

· Analyze service performance data (incidents, requests, changes) and identify trends or areas for improvement.

· Maintain and update ITSM documentation, service catalogs, workflows, and knowledge articles.

· Assist with project scheduling, milestone tracking, and task coordination for both ITSM and business initiatives.

· Maintain project documentation including action item logs, meeting summaries, and project status reports.

· Coordinate internal meetings and follow-ups to ensure momentum on assigned initiatives.

· Monitor and report on task progress, escalating issues when needed to project leads or leadership.

Position Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· 1–3 years of experience in a business analyst, operations support, or project coordination role.

· Familiarity with ITSM tools and concepts (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, ITIL practices).

· Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

· Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Experience supporting multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Exposure to or certification in ITIL Foundation.

· Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, GovWin).

· Interest in or progress toward project management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP).
