The salary range for this position is $91, 900 - $114, 900 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Position Overview:

As the Video Retoucher and Colorist you will be responsible for the finishing stages of video post-production for Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Fenty Hair. You will partner with the Creative Director of Video to address key video finishing details, including: color grading, beauty retouching, keying, compositing, and editing.

In this role, you will deliver solutions for a diverse range of marketing and omni-channel needs-ranging from product launch campaigns to paid media to product page videos, you will be hands-on in finishing videos with a strong eye for refined beauty retouching and color.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Creative Directors and Stills Retouchers to develop grade looks for all video projects
  • Work with Senior Video Editor to streamline post-production process
  • Intake retouching notes intuitively, and execute imperceptible beauty work for video
  • Execute composite work using green-screen footage

Skills:

  • Aware of trends and new ideas within beauty industry, with ability to interpret those into high performing brand right creative
  • A strong eye for color and advertising-level video quality control
  • Strong grasp of digital finishing programs such as, DaVinci Resolve, Nuke, and After Effects etc.
  • Technical knowledge in cinematography, editing, compositing, beauty retouching, and graphic animation
  • Understanding of framing & technical constraints in both vertical & horizontal formats
  • Ability to work side-by-side with an editor and maintain an efficient and organized workflow
  • Passion for Art and Beauty.
  • Ability to be flexible and to balance business goals with creative vision
  • Communicate information effectively with relevant members of the team throughout creative lifecycle
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines, quickly managing changing priorities
  • Experience in editing video for full 360 activation across editorial and paid media platforms
  • Ability to anticipate workload and communicate proactively to team members
  • Superior organizational and communications skills

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Film/Media Production/Graphic Design-related field of study.
  • 5+ years experience in a high volume, deadline-driven environment: fashion and technology industry experience.
  • Experience in video finishing within the beauty landscape.
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, deadline driven.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative manner
  • Mastery of programs including: DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop is a must.
  • Understanding of current fashion and beauty trends
  • Experience in digital video creation
