TASK DESCRIPTION
The Quality & Safety Supervisor will be the primary interface for all quality and safety matters at the Contract Field Team (CFT) at Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore Search and Rescue (SAR) providing Organizational "O" Level Maintenance Support for assigned H-60 aircraft in support of Commander Naval Air Forces Pacific (CNAP). Performs oversight for ALERT requirements at Monterey, PHASE Maintenance at North Island and other TDY support missions/locations as required. Assists in managing day-to-day organizational-level support maintenance in accordance with (IAW) the scope of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Assists in coordinating and managing technical and administrative operations and all other aspects of support program to ensure timely availability of weapon systems to meet specified operational requirements. Ensures Contractor Maintenance Services (CMS) meet or exceed contract performance requirements. Provides expertise and advice on technical, and logistical matters and the effective use of CMS efforts. Coordinates maintenance program IAW all applicable Navy maintenance management documents and directives.
TASK REQUIREMENTS
- Directly responsible and accountable to Site Manager for site level Quality Program Management.
- Directly responsible and accountable to Site Manager for site level Safety Program Management.
- Performs Safety of Flight qualifications and Safe for Flight (SFF) duties.
- Assists in performing duties as interface with Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and submits required reports accordingly including but not limited to: Certificate Of Completion and Acceptance (COCA), Certificate of Service (COS), Manning Reports, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), etc.
- Performs duties as primary interface with Corporate Director of Quality and submits required reports accordingly.
- Provides local oversight of Quality Management System (QMS), training and safety programs.
- Audits site to ensure compliance with QMS and safety requirements.
- Accountable for assigned Company Owned Property, Government Furnished Property, and Government Furnished Equipment.
- Documents work performed on appropriate forms, electronic database and definitive sheets, as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) with a minimum of 20 years experience and 10 years' experience supporting H-60 aircraft.
- Eight years as a Maintenance Officer or senior maintenance NCO responsible for Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) with a minimum 8 years of experience supervising aircraft maintenance support requirements or civilian equivalents.
- Safe for Flight Qualification for H-60.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) with a minimum of 8 years' experience.
- A minimum of 5 years as a Maintenance Officer or senior maintenance NCO responsible for Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) with a minimum 5 years of experience supervising aircraft maintenance support requirements or civilian equivalents.
- Safe for Flight Qualification.
- Site Quality & Safety Supervisor shall possess required training, qualifications, proficiency, and security clearances and satisfy all access requirements prior to commencement of work.
Compensation$108, 200.00/year
Other CompensationEmployees will receive a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.00 for every hour worked.
