Are you a product leader who accelerates secure, best-in-class native mobile experiences by turning standards into scalable, reusable requirements teams ship with confidence? If so, you've found the right team!
As a Shared Services Product Associate within our mobile services organization, you accelerate secure, best-in-class native mobile experiences by turning standards into scalable, reusable requirements teams ship with confidence. This role focuses on requirements coaching, mobile UX standards, non-functional requirements (NFRs), mobile value-add capabilities, and security-by-design considerations. Success will be measured through improved delivery throughput and reduced partner build issues.
Job Responsibilities - Partner enablement on requirements: Coach partner teams to produce clear, testable requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, analytics needs, accessibility requirements, and localization considerations.
- Mobile experience standards: Socialize and reinforce native mobile experience standards such as navigation patterns, error and empty states, accessibility, performance expectations, and offline/poor network behavior.
- NFR definition & governance: Create reusable NFR templates for mobile delivery (e.g., reliability, latency, crash-free rate, app size, battery impact, observability, and resilience).
- Security-by-design: Ensure requirements incorporate appropriate security and privacy controls, including authentication and session handling, data-at-rest and data-in-transit expectations, secure storage, jailbreak/root detection considerations, and logging hygiene.
- Value-add mobile capabilities: Enable teams to appropriately leverage platform-native capabilities such as push notifications, biometrics, deep links, camera/file flows, device permissions, and feature flagging.
- Intake & prioritization: Run a lightweight intake process for partner requests; triage, size, prioritize, and route work across shared services contributors.
- Reusable assets: Build and maintain playbooks, requirement checklists, reference user stories, and sample acceptance criteria to reduce rework and improve consistency.
- Cross-functional alignment: Partner with design, engineering, security, and QA to standardize patterns, drive adoption, and remove delivery friction.
- Continuous improvement: Use issue trends and partner feedback to refine standards and templates, driving measurable reductions in defects and cycle time.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Product management experience in mobile (iOS/Android) and/or mobile platform contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous needs into clear, testable requirements using structured problem solving and repeatable frameworks.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality templates, playbooks, standards, and requirement artifacts.
- Metrics-driven approach to product delivery and partner outcomes; ability to define and use data to reduce defects, rework, and cycle time.
- Pragmatic decision-making skills that balance speed with risk, quality, and control requirements in a shared services environment.
- Working knowledge of native mobile UX patterns and accessibility expectations.
- Strong understanding of mobile NFRs, including performance, reliability, and observability.
- Familiarity with mobile security and privacy considerations and experience embedding them into requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without authority and drive adoption of standards across teams.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Experience operating a shared services / platform product model.
- Experience working with design systems and mobile component libraries.
- Experience defining mobile analytics and instrumentation requirements (events, funnels, experimentation).
- Background collaborating closely with security/risk partners on mobile controls.
