We seek a Senior Marketing Manager experienced in digital and software to join our team that envisions and delivers the digital ecosystem of software products on-robot and off-robot that enable the OTTAVA™ surgical robotics experience.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving the development and implementation of a product strategy that directly aligns with the OTTAVA™ program vision and goals. Your close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, will be crucial in developing and launching innovative products that meet customer needs and drive significant business growth.

Leadership
Plan, develop and grow digital capabilities within the organization. Manage a team of product managers, supporting their continued career development.
In collaboration with leadership, drive digital transformation in the organization, with a mindset of continuous learning.
Roadmap & Product Development
Develop the software product portfolio long-term vision & roadmap, evaluation of strategic and financial attractiveness of growth opportunities to improve patient outcomes.
Develop the appropriate value proposition and business model for digital features as well as the go-to-market approach, in collaboration with a cross-functional team.
Lead a team of product managers to define and iteratively refine product features based on voice of the customer, market intelligence, business model implications.
Represent marketing within the core leadership team responsible for software delivery. Collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners, including R& D, Human Factors & Experience Design, Regulatory, Scientific Affairs, Business Development, and others.
Ensure that high quality, reliability, usability, and measurement standards are adhered to throughout each product development phase.
Strategy & Insight Generation
Build a deep understanding of target markets, including evolving technology and healthcare trends, competitive dynamics, unmet needs, and geographic-specific factors.
Gain actionable customer insight and recommendations by executing primary/secondary research, visiting customers, conducting advisory board, and engaging internal/external stakeholders.
Ensure thorough understanding of the Digital landscape including competitive offerings.
Monitor and assess opportunities in the rapidly evolving market related to Digital, in partnership with R& D and Business Development.
Product Launch
Support execution of marketing and commercial launch related activities for OTTAVA as relates to Digital.
Inform strategic decisions about go-to-market, including those related to connectivity, security, privacy, and data.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or equivalent. MBA or advanced degree preferred
Required Skills and Experience:
8+ years of relevant and progressive business experience with preference of at least 4 years’ experience leading teams.
Previous experience in product management or marketing of software.
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional partners and across organizational boundaries. Ability to influence and drive to decisions with leadership stakeholders.
Demonstrated previous experience of successful product development and launch of a connected medical device.
Expertise in conducting market research, competitive analysis, gathering user feedback, and articulating reasoning behind product decisions from a customer perspective.
Self-starter with excellent communication skills and a strong analytical mindset; ability to drive data-driven decisions that align with business goals and strategy.
Passion for conceiving, creating, and designing meaningful, innovative products.
Previous experience with surgical robotics.
Knowledge of key areas relevant to digital, e.g., as cloud, edge computing, computer vision and AI, data management.
Previous experience with go-to-market of a digital solution for hospitals, such as contracting, IT assessment, connectivity, cybersecurity, etc.

This role will be based out of Santa Clara, CA and may require up to 15% travel (international and domestic)
The anticipated base pay range is $138, 000 to $238, 050
