We are searching for the best talent for a Director, Medical Affairs (OTTAVA Surgical Robotics). This position can be located within a commutable distance of either Santa Clara, CA or Cincinnati, OH and will be fully on-site. Relocation assistance is available to qualified candidates.
Purpose: The Director, Medical Affairs (OTTAVA Surgical Robotics) is responsible for co-leading the development and implementation of innovative surgical robotic systems. This role involves overseeing clinical research, ensuring compliance with medical regulations, supporting medical safety, and guiding the integration of advanced technologies into surgical practices. The candidate must possess a strong background in medicine and technology, coupled with leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities include strategic planning, collaboration with engineering and research teams, supporting medical safety documentation, and maintaining a focus on improving patient outcomes through technological advancements. The role demands excellent communication skills for liaising with healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and industry partners. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $194, 000 to $334, 650 in the Cincinnati market & $224, 000 to $385, 250 in the Santa Clara market. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
