The Electrophysiology sector within Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting an Analyst for the Capital Contract Management team located in Irvine, CA.
Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations (GPOs), leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics, and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson sectors.
Contract Management is responsible for the development and execution of contract strategies and execution for customers within Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology sector. Contract Management includes the development and delivery of Contracting Strategies (contracting options / parameters by customer segment), Customer Analytics (preparation of customer-ready analytics and materials for the field to support customer updates and negotiations), Contract Administration (Contract executing, loading, and tracking compliance) and CPC governance (rules and processes for approving deal exceptions). The Contracting group works in close collaboration with the field to put together the most appropriate offering (products, pricing, solutions, and T& Cs) for the customer as possible while still supporting the objectives and strategies of the business.
The Analyst, Capital Contract Management is responsible for the development, execution, implementation, and administration of routine commercial contracts in support of the Electrophysiology sector and their U.S. customer-facing teams. Commercial contracts include, but are not limited to pricing agreements, service agreements, evaluation agreements, rental agreements, and promotional/program agreements.
Responsibilities:
Reviews straightforward contract requests that align with approved commercial strategy
Review internal offer review and approval processes
Prepares uncomplicated contracts, amendments, and notices in accordance with contracting guidelines for commercial, state government and local government customers
Reviews and redlines terms and conditions in partnership with legal and other internal partners
Executes tasks for Contracting, and follows established processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
Corresponds with sales representatives to resolve contract issues with support from supervisor when needed
Identifies critical pre- and post-execution contractual issues and escalates them to the appropriate business or legal partners to mitigate, reduce, and eliminate risks for the US business; drives cross-functional team discussions to build consensus and implements the necessary resolution of such issues.
Administers contracts through their lifecycle (including, but not limited to, system setup, records retention, payments, roster management, letters of commitment, renewal)
Completes basic pre-sale and post-signature contract support duties including fulfilling due diligence requests, processing modifications, close-out tasks, communicating with contracted parties, and answering inquiries.
Support audits and compliance testing by providing information and supporting documents
Monitors contract management processes and identifies process improvements and optimizations.
Qualifications:
Required:
A minimum of a BS/BA degree
A minimum of two (2) years of business experience
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of contracting, sales marketing, or commercial operations
Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to self-manage in a complex / time sensitive environment
Strong communication skills (presentations, listening, written skills)
Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales / customer focused environment
Drive to understand business products and offerings, strategies and business objectives
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to present detail data in a clear and concise manner
Excellent interpersonal skills
Intermediate/Advanced with Microsoft Toolset including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred:
A concentration in Business, Finance, Sales & Marketing, or related field
Prior experience working with customer and field sales facing teams
Knowledge of Salesforce
Physical working conditions / requirements:
Office deskwork, requiring sitting, using phone and computer.
This position is in Irvine, CA.
Requires up to 5% travel.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. ·
