Job Description

IntelliSource is looking to hire a Lumber Yard Worker located in Tahoe City, CA. We have partnered with an exciting organization and we're on the hunt for a motivated individual who wants to join their team.



What You'll Do:

• Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor, work well with customers as well as coworkers.
• Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and coworkers.
• Sort and stack lumber based on size and type.
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the green shed and yard.
• Answer customer questions and show customers where to find specific products.
• Load lumber into the customer vehicles.
• Operate saws, forklifts and other equipment and must adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Sort through and pull damaged lumber.
• Alert back-office staff to low status alerts.

What You'll Bring:

• Use hands to manipulate objects, tools and/or controls.
• Ability to lift and/or move 50lbs unassisted and up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Physical work including walking, crouching, bending, pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, and reaching above shoulders.
• Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing for long periods of time.
• PPE requirements include safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and safety shoes.
• Positive attitude & "can-do" mentality that is customer service oriented.
• Must be reliable, team-player, driven, demonstrates respect for safety and an eye for quality.
• You must have your own transportation for this position.
