Description:

Summary:

The Contract Specialist will assist in the lifecycle of carrier orders, specifically focusing on AT& T, Verizon, and Lumen. This role requires strong attention to detail, a resourceful attitude, and the ability to process contracts efficiently. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with various departments and suppliers to ensure a smooth pre-sales experience. The Contract Specialist will support pre-sales activities, which specifically includes contracting and managing relationships with key carriers. Other responsibilities include pricing and order processing when needed. This role requires quick adaptability, allowing team members to jump between different carriers as needed.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Contract Management: Prepare and review contracts for partners based on pricing guidelines and company standards for carriers such as AT& T, Verizon, and Lumen.
  • Contract Entry & Processing: Ensure accurate contract entry in CRM tools, tracking progress from submission through completion within SLA.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve contract discrepancies and issues that may arise during the contracting process.
  • Partner Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for carrier partners and internal teams, addressing inquiries and providing timely status updates.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Work with sales and operations teams to ensure that the contract lifecycle flows smoothly.
  • Escalations & Follow-Up: Address escalated issues and concerns, working within the SLA to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
  • Training & Development: Attend supplier training sessions to improve product knowledge and make well-informed recommendations.
  • Backup Support: Provide backup to other team members as needed, ensuring activities are handled effectively.
  • Company Meetings & Updates: Participate in company and team meetings, sharing insights and learning about new products or updates from suppliers.


Reporting Relationships:

Reports to Supervisor, Partner Solutions

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, account management, or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications services, including familiarity with AT& T, Verizon, Lumen and wireless preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex information.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to catch discrepancies in the order process.
  • Ability to attend training and retain detailed product knowledge.
  • Resourceful and proactive in finding solutions to problems.
  • Team player who can work collaboratively across departments.
  • Prior experience with order management systems or CRM tools is a plus.


Compensation:

Compensation Range: $60, 000-$70, 000

Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
