SALES EXECUTIVE

The Sales Executive in our Ingenious Med business unit is responsible for building a pipeline of perspective clients and closing deals to meet the quota for the assigned territory, with a focus independent physician groups, regional hospitals and health systems, and large national management groups and health systems. This role works closely with members across the organization to ensure Ingenious Med's commitment to outstanding products, customer service and company expansion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned territory

  • Works both collaboratively and individually to close new business in the WEST COAST territory

  • Works with various departments within the organization (tech support, implementations, account management) to ensure prospective and current clients’ needs are being met in a timely manner

  • Maneuver through the sales process from lead generation, to contract negotiations, to final sale with extensive individual prospecting required.

  • Works with Sales Director to meet Quota for assigned territory

  • Develop and execute personal sales strategies that are congruent with market analysis, competitors, and targets;

    • Generate leads through all necessary channels

    • Build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects

    • Build strong prospect/customer relationships

    • Reply to requests for proposal with high quality responses within defined timelines

    • Lead effective sales presentations

    • Identify, plan for and attend regional tradeshows or perform other prospecting activities with an understanding of the return on investment

  • Prepare, update and manage opportunity status in Salesforce CRM. Manage monthly bookings forecast with a goal of delivering bookings according to forecast

  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of our products, the value they provide to our customers and the domain we sell them into. Be able to articulate the value our products and services offer in an individual or group setting

  • Maintain the integrity, quality and accuracy of pricing and proposals to ensure customers get what they need and Professional Services can deliver the solution

  • Contribute to the development of quality product collateral and presentations

  • Maintain and strengthen partnerships and associations

  • Use interactions with potential customers to collect market data and inform market strategy

  • Comply with the organization’s compliance program and policies including but not limited to timely completion of assigned compliance and other company training.

  • Manages travel and expenses in alignment with company’s policies

REQUIREMENTS

The individual selected for this role will be a highly energetic self-starter with a positive attitude. To meet this challenge the ideal candidate must possess a high level of initiative and comfort working in a data driven organization, as well as several of the following skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in software sales

  • Demonstrated strength in “hunter” sales, including prospecting activities

  • Understanding of the healthcare landscape - national health systems, regional hospitals, independent physician groups

  • Superior oral and written skills in English

  • Demonstrated ability to determine and then transform customer needs/requirements into an opportunity for the company

  • Strong business development experience

  • Experience successfully carrying a sales quota

  • Ability to work in a team and be hands on with customers in achieving their success

  • Experience in healthcare software sales is a plus

SALARY RANGE

The total compensation hiring range for this role is $100, 000 to $120, 000 USD per year. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, market conditions, internal equity and includes a projection of variable performance-based compensation.
