The ideal candidate will:
- Be at least 18yrs of age or over.
- Have ability to work in outdoor settings during any climate.
- Be passionate in providing meaningful guest interactions.
Shift Pattern: Weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - $21.50 based on applicable and specialized experience and location
What will I be doing?As a Recreation Attendant, you would be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and fun environment for guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. The Recreation Attendant is responsible for delivering an engaging and memorable guest experience during the fire-side s'mores program for hotel and non-hotel guests at the Hilton Torrey Pines. This role focuses on checking in guests, providing exceptional customer service. The position is responsible for equipment setup and breakdown, and maintaining a well-organized operation. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet guests and check them in for their scheduled fire-side s'mores experience.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional guest service at all times.
- Set up, maintain, and break down fire pits, seating, and all related equipment before and after each event.
- Clean the pit area including, but not limited to, ashtrays, furniture, tables, decks.
- Maintain equipment including, but not limited to, umbrellas, speakers, toys, etc.
- Monitor use of the facility and address and/or report potential hazards.
- Respond to guest inquiries and service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Perform general Recreation duties, as needed.
