Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles International Airport South is seeking an experienced Front Desk Supervisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest service. This role provides daily leadership and guidance to the front desk team, ensuring a consistently high level of hospitality in alignment with Hilton brand standards.

What will I be doing?

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will provide leadership and guidance to the Guest Service Agent team during your assigned shift, ensuring consistent, high-quality service in support of the hotel's commitment to outstanding guest experiences and financial performance. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising Front Desk Operations - Oversee Guest Service Agents to ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout the shift.
  • Communicating Expectations - Provide clear verbal and written direction, assign tasks, and coach team members to improve performance.
  • Resolving Guest and Team Member Issues - Apply sound judgment and creative problem-solving to address concerns while upholding company standards and maintaining strong guest relations.
  • Covering MOD Responsibilities - Manage the front desk, respond to guest concerns, handle emergencies, and implement appropriate resolutions using discretion and leadership.
  • Delivering Exceptional Guest Service - Greet guests promptly with a warm, sincere welcome; communicate clearly; and actively listen to understand guest and team member needs.

Pay Range: The starting hourly wage is $23.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

  • Strong guest-service skills, including the ability to work with internal and external customers who may require patience, tact, and diplomacy to resolve concerns and gather accurate information.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency and the ability to use a calculator to perform moderately complex calculations accurately.
  • Effective listening and English comprehension, enabling clear understanding of instructions and information.
  • Ability to observe and respond to emergency situations, including adequate hearing and vision.
  • One year of Front Desk and supervisory experience in hospitality or a related industry is preferred.
