Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage Outlet Manager to join our leadership team at one of Southern California's most scenic coastal destinations!

Set against breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, our resort offers a unique blend of elevated dining experiences and relaxed coastal charm. Nestled alongside the iconic Torrey Pines State Reserve with direct access to scenic trails and the beach just one mile away this is an opportunity to lead in a destination that truly stands apart.

In this role, you will oversee multiple outlets across the property, including Torreyana Restaurant, Torreyana Lounge, Horizons Coffee Café, The Marketplace, and In-Room Dining, ensuring exceptional service, operational excellence, and memorable guest experiences throughout.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-outlet environment and is passionate about delivering elevated hospitality while driving performance and team engagement.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a supervisory position within food and beverage, preferably high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
  • Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Previous experience with forecasting, labor management, and inventory
  • Comfortability with learning new software and computer literacy
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-unit management experience is a plus!

Shift Pattern: Varied to include nights, weekends and holidays

Salary: $70, 000-$73, 000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Food and Beverage Manager, you would be responsible for assisting in the daily management of activities and services of all hotel food and beverage operations (kitchens, restaurants, banquets, lounges, room service, coffee shops, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:
  • Assist in the management of all Food and Beverage operations to include, but not limited to, guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
  • Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolve guest concerns
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members
