Job Title: Activities Director (Full-Time)
Location: Hayward Gardens Post Acute
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time (may include weekends and holidays as needed)

Job Summary:
Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a creative, organized, and compassionate Activities Director to lead and coordinate engaging programs for our residents. The Activities Director is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive activity program that enhances residents' physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and implement daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs
  • Develop activities that meet the diverse needs and interests of residents
  • Coordinate group and one-on-one activities, including recreational, social, and therapeutic programs
  • Organize special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings
  • Maintain activity calendars and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care plans
  • Supervise and train activity staff and volunteers
  • Ensure supplies are ordered, organized, and within budget
  • Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in activities programming, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to create engaging and inclusive programs for a diverse resident population
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to activity programs in post-acute care
  • Certification as an Activities Director (or eligibility to obtain) preferred
  • Compassionate, energetic, and patient-centered approach
