About the Role:

You will:

  • Manage and hire a team of fulfillment center teammates.
  • Set clear performance expectations and goals for teammates and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback and development.
  • Manage, schedule, and train staff to ensure safe and efficient operation of all fulfillment center functions.
  • Oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to internal and external showrooms.


  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for order fulfillment. Implement inventory controls to minimize discrepancies and losses.
  • Manage the purchasing and procurement of stock.
  • Schedule outbound deliveries via freight carriers.
  • Develop strategies and goals for the fulfillment center, such as process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.


  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess fulfillment center performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.


  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.


  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, profit centers and showrooms to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
  • Oversee online ordering and fulfillment process.


  • Identify potential risks and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect assets, minimize liability, and ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure that merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner and maintain required records in conformance with company policy.
  • Supervise the proper routing, loading, and preparation of orders for shipment and delivery in accordance with customer instructions.


  • Review and maintain appropriate DOT records and physical examination certificates for drivers and ensure current training certification for forklift/material handling equipment operators.
  • Supervise and schedule the maintenance of all company delivery vehicles and material handling equipment in use in the warehouse.
  • Maintain the safety of warehouse operations and teammates in compliance with the company's Safety Standards, OSHA and any other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain the security of warehouse and grounds to protect the Profit Center's assets.


  • Resolve all delivery complaints and receiving disputes quickly and effectively.


  • Perform all job functions in accordance with the company's Safety Standards.


  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.


About You:

  • 5+ years of purchasing and order fulfillment experience
  • 1+ year of leadership experience
  • Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred

  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.


  • Have experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Have experience working with vendors on purchasing and inventory management.
  • Be able to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center.
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of and be able to apply and enforce OSHA, DOT, and other warehouse and material handling safety regulations.
  • Be able to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers.


  • Remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations.
  • Be able to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.
  • Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for sales and warehouse operations.
  • Be able to learn Microsoft Office Outlook to communicate via email.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
