Description:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with performing testing with various systems engineering development projects
  • Runs system performance analysis
  • Monitors Quality of service for the network
  • Able to develop software tools to assist with systems analysis from test data or network performance data.
  • Provides systems engineering support for new development projects
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact clearly and concisely with all departments and levels of management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially under time constraints.
  • Outstanding organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to identify and seek needed information.

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in wireless communication. Additional course work in computer science is preferred.
  • Exposure to satellite communication is an advantage.
  • Experience with test equipment like Spectrum analyzer, Network analyzer, Vector network analyzer etc.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in engineering, systems design, or other related fields

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
