Job Description

Food 4 Less, a division of Kroger Co., is hiring a MEAT/CLERK in Los Angeles, CA. This is a part-time position, and paying $18.17–$23.72/hour.

Perform general clean-up and stock work in the Meat department and provide customer service. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.Minimum
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays.

  • Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.

  • Must be able to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and carefully operate all production equipment.

  • Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal laws.
  • Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
  • Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
  • Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
