Key Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence and functional recovery
- Provide evidence-based interventions focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, safety, and quality of life
- Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes
- Participate in care planning meetings, utilization reviews, and discharge planning discussions
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Educate residents, caregivers, and family members on treatment strategies, home safety, and adaptive equipment recommendations
- Support successful transitions home through comprehensive caregiver training and discharge planning

Qualifications
- Current and active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care
