As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in ensuring residents receive nutritious meals and excellent dining service while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.
The Opportunity

Position: Dietary Aide - Full-Time
Location: East Bay Post Acute
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service according to dietary guidelines
• Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and courteous manner
• Review resident meal tickets to ensure accuracy and dietary compliance
• Assist residents during meal service as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food storage areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following sanitation standards
• Properly store food and supplies according to facility and health department requirements
• Follow infection control, food safety, and workplace safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff and other departments to support resident satisfaction

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous dietary, food service, healthcare, or restaurant experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
