Description:

Del Rosa Villa is hiring a part time COTA.

Purpose: To assist in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed therapist

Pay: from $33/per hour - DOE!

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implement and execute established patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
  • Communicate with patience, families, referring physicians, and other members of the team.
  • Provide timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.
  • Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional association.
  • Provide timely written documentation as required.
  • Support and participate in department operations and development.
  • Report any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis.
  • Prepare and submit patient charges accurately to access appropriate billing information.
  • Coordinate treatment goals with other team members.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) or the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (AOTE) certified school.
  • In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
  • Full knowledge of residence rights.
  • Must be able to read write speak and understand and communicate in English.
  • Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
  • Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
  • Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training.
