Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and patient‑centered Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapeutic interventions, improve mobility, and support resident recovery and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
• Document resident progress in accordance with company policies and state/federal guidelines
• Educate residents and families on home exercises and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals
• Maintain a safe and encouraging therapy environment

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of California
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative care team
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred, but not required
